The Challenge for Self Storage Facility Crisis Management: PREPARATION

The challenge for self storage owner-operators of all sizes is the same. You must have a crisis management plan in place before a crisis happens.

“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
Benjamin Franklin, Founding Father, United States of America
February 4, 1735

Preparing a crisis management plan requires you to think through scenarios and build processes and road maps for solving various crises. With mitigation and a plan in hand, you’ll be back in business and generating income sooner because you planned ahead of time.

Even if a crisis happens at one of your properties and it isn’t exactly what you planned for, having plans in place and reviewed with your team ahead of an event will help you better react and resolve an unexpected situation faster.

Implementing the business tactic of crisis management preparation will have you back in business generating revenue faster than your competition.
